Comments: When snow first started this morning about 10am, we had a wide variety of beautiful flakes. When I tried to get photos about 2pm, they were small and boring. But they were coming down in big clumps. The driveway and street were mostly clear. But now at 5pm, the flakes are smaller and seem to be broken and melted a bit. Snow is accumulating on the road. with little wind, it's a decorative snow piling up on bushes.

Comments: That last band put down a nice extra layer. Well, nice for this winter. It was sparkly. It was easy to clear the driveway although the snow did feel heavy. Every so often, the wind would knock snow off the trees. At 9:30pm, the trees still have most of their accumulation. I'm guessing that will be gone by morning. We shall see. Now for the deep freeze.
