Comments: I slept through the sleet. Snowflakes are currently needles and broken parts with clumps. There's a little bit of sleet mixed in. I didn't observe any intact dendrites. However, it is coming down heavily at 8:15am. No wind.

Storm Total: 4.0 inches inches
Temperature: 27
Comments: Yesterday's total amounted to about 2.5 to 3.0 inches. Lots of sleet mixed in yesterday, with some freezing rain over night. Since 5:30 am today, most precip has been in the form of pure snow. Winds have been sustained at 15mph to 20mph, with gusts up to 30mph.

New Rain/Snow: 3 inches in the last 9 hours
Storm Total: 11.75 inches
Temperature: 32
Comments: The 3 inch new snowfall is hard data obtained from multiple surfaces which were cleared bare at midnight. The 11.75 is deceiving because the midnight total had been 10.5. Total snow is a race between fresh snow and compaction.

New Rain/Snow: 6 inches in the last 6.5 hours
Storm Total: 15.25 inches

Comments: It was coming down at an inch an hour until the last 90 minutes. We cleared the driveway, and snow would cover the black fairly quickly. This last pass at the driveway (starting at 4pm), it's staying black longer. Falling snow now has more dendrites, but it's mostly broken and melted parts. There were still needles at 4pm, but I didn't see any needles at 4:30pm. It looks like there is some wind from the northwest. Sometimes the snow is falling sideways. But inches of snow are still hanging on the trees pretty well.

New Rain/Snow: 4.7 inches in the last 5.5 hours
Storm Total: 16 inches
Temperature:
Comments: The accumulating snow in Millersville has ended. We received 4.7 inches in the last 5.5 hours. My storm total (sum of average measurements after sweeping from a snowboard, wooden picnic table, and elevated wooden deck) is 16 inches. I swept at about 3:45 pm yesterday, 8:30 pm yesterday, 6:30 am this morning, 12:30 pm this afternoon, and 5:45 pm this afternoon. The snow depth is 13.5 inches (average of grass and wood measurements). So, about 2.5 inches of compaction.

Comments: My measurements on snow board totaled 16.25 inches, but there's easily measurement error, so I'll remember this as 16. At 6:30pm, the flakes were really small, and the snow was light. Fun storm, but I can be done with snow for the season. I made sure to uncover my fire hydrant as well as my daffodils. Bring on spring.

New Rain/Snow: 11.8 inches in the last 21 hours
Storm Total: 19.0 inches
Temperature: 30
Comments: Measured on the table on my back porch and took snow depth on the porch itself. Had 7.2 out of round one yesterday, then cleared the table at 11 P.M. Tuesday. Measured another 4.7 at 11 A.M. Wednesday and cleared table again. Had another 5.3 by 9 P.M. and wiped it again one last time. Since then, an additional 1.5 inches and still coming down with this last band. Snow depth of 16.5 inches on the porch. Given that I cleared the table every 8-10 hours today, rounding up from 18.7 to 19 to partially account for more compaction effects.
