Comments: My snow board is elevated off the ground but not high enough. Its measuring capabilities were compromised overnight. It’s also on west side of house. Sidewalk where I had cleared shows additional 12 inches. Driveway claims 15 inches total where I can reach with my measuring stick. Ornamental “Snow Cat” in yard reads 12 inches total, but it creates a microclimate for wind swirls. So I think 14 inches total at 7:30am Saturday is reasonably accurate. I can keep up with it now. Flakes are mostly needles and simple stars. Nothing photogenic. It can stop now for us to play. :-)

Comments: 24.5 inch storm total as of 4:45pm. About 4pm, it seemed to start letting up. Light fluffy snow throughout; lots of needles. My driveway still isn’t cleared, but it will have to wait until tomorrow. Hopefully it won’t drift too much. I’ve decided 12 inches is as much snow as I want at any one time.
