New Rain/Snow: 4 inches in the last 4 1/2 hours
Storm Total: 20 inches
Temperature: 19
Comments: This will be my final "official" measurement for Stewartstown since the acummulating snow has stopped and this measurement was taken behind the woods where I live where drifting is not a factor. Out in the open where drifting is a factor there are substantial drifts forming. Common drifts range from 3-5 feet with some drifts of 6 and 7 feet. In fact, there is a drift in my back yard approaching 7 feet. Winds continue to be sustained between 25 and 35 mph with some gusts around 40 mph. Visisbility has now increased somewhat since the snow has stopped falling, but the wind is picking up snow off the ground and still cutting down on visibility. Visibility is now around 1/2 mile or so.

This snowstorm will make the total for the season 83 1/2 inches, 50 of which came in the last two storms. I guess we'll get another foot or two on Monday just based on the luck we've been having...
