Comments: My 4 inches includes Tuesday morning's 1 inch and a guess that the quarter inch of ice on top of the 2 inches of snow is compacted from snow a bit taller. This won't be nearly as much fun to clear from the driveway especially since it's raining now. Trees have a thin coating of ice. In summary: I had a tall 1 inch Tuesday morning, a short 1 inch by midnight Tuesday, and perhaps an extra 2 inches since midnight (including the 1/4 inch of ice on top). I'm observing rather than measuring.
