Comments: It's a very decorative, light, and fluffy snow sticking to shrubs, grass, fallen leaves piled in the street, and pumpkins left over from Halloween. Sidewalks and roads are clear. It's still coming down gently as the kids head off to school. It was easier to get them up when I said it was white outside. This seems to be an early sticking snow for around here.

Comments: The snowflakes were fine, simple, and broken around 8am. They became more clumpy with well-developed flakes in the large clumps by 10am. About 11:30, the snow tapered off although there are still a few flakes falling. The wind is starting to pick up and will probably knock the snow off the branches where it's accumulated so gracefully. The sun is out now. Storm total about 1.5 inches.
