Comments: Total snow and sleet on the deck at 1200 UTC is 6.25 inches. I used the measure and sweep method (5 inches of snow and 1.25 inches of sleet). Total snow/sleet on the grass at 1200 UTC is a solid 7 inches using many samples.

Comments: From 9pm to midnight last night, moderate to heavy snow fell resulting in about 3 additional inches. Very interesting storm with sleet during the morning, changing to snow near noon, then back to a heavy sleet in the afternoon, and finally ending with heavy snow! 3 inches of sleet and 4.5 inches of snow resulting in the storm total of 7.5 inches.

Comments: On a flat portion of my lawn, somewhat protected from the wind, about 12 inches were measured. The previous measurement of 10 inches was on a sloped portion of the lawn exposed to the winds, which allowed for drifting.

Comments: when i looked out at 530am friday sleet was falling, then changed to snow by about 630am. Snowed steady till about 930am then had some sleet till 1030am then steady snow becoming very heavy by noon lasting till about 330 then snow sleet mix till about 5pm then all snow and again pretty heavy. Snowed hard until 9pm then finished around midnight. During the day the flakes were big and the sky reminded me of the Christmas Day 2002 snowstorm. What a winter!! Everything but the kitchen sink.
