Joe Moore is currently a junior meteorology major with a minor in general business. His strongest interests lie in the relationship between weather and business, in obvious and not-so-obvious ways. In Spring 2007, he interned at a weather-related business and learned about real-world situations and uses for weather in business. During summer 2009, he interned with The Cadets drum corps as an operational forecaster, among other things. This internship was not one that was offered, but rather, one that Joe thought up and pursued. At Millersville, Joe participates in the Campus Weather Service and is working on a statistical weather-related research project. Outside of the meteorology department, he is also the managing editor and webmaster of the student newspaper, The Snapper. Outside of school, he enjoys working with the popular blogging platform, WordPress, playing his Wii, and photography.
