Architects design new roof according to green roof requirements and specifications. Landscape Architects select plants and design green roof features like patios and pergolas if needed. Roofing and Landscape Contractors Roofing Contractors usually only install the roofing system below the green roof. The green roof system typically is being installed by a Landscaping Company, which may work in some situations as subcontractor of the roofing company. Material Suppliers Suppliers are needed for fabric, drain sheets, drain boxes, pavers and more. Certified blenders are also used for green roof growing media. Specialized nurseries are also needed for suited plant varities and sizes.
