We've decided to combine the Trips/Events committee and the Fundraising committe into one large committee. Headed by the Treasurer, the Fundraising portion will focus on raising money, aiding in working with Student Senate, and finding creative ways to fund our programs.  This coming year, the main focus will be on funding our trips, speaker series, and gift to the department. Headed by the Secretary, the Events portion will focus on planning (housing, travel, etc.) of our two annual conference trips as well as a third for this coming year. Working together, this is an interactive way of actually planning three major events for the organization. This is a great way to be involved in the inner workings of the organization as well as getting a taste of student senate.
