Welcome to the new Weather Outreach Program created by the Millersville University Chapter of the American Meteorological Society (MU-AMS) and the Millersville University Department of Earth Science! As part of our new initiative to reach out to the community our organization is offering our students to you to enter the classroom and show the different fields and topics that make up Meteorology. Targeted for grades 4 through 9, our members are able to conduct a range of activities such as a direct presentation to the class, judging a science fair, or exhibiting at a science expo. The presentations and information will be tailored to the teachers and presenting students’ specifications. Though we may not be able to go to every school or classroom, we will try to accommodate as many applicants as possible. Please fill out the online form in its entirety and we will contact you to set up a time and day as well as touch base on the type of presentation to be given. The MU-AMS hopes this will be an enriching and exciting experience not just for us, but for you and your students as well!
